This is our final video on “How to Sell Your Home Using a Realtor” which covers the closing stage.
Once the all of the inspections have been completed, the repairs have been completed and/or the price has been adjusted; the appraisal has been completed and the sales price adjusted… Now it’s time to close the sale.
The realtor will open escrow with an attorney or title company. They will perform a title search to make sure there is a continuous chain of title and that there are no liens or judgements that may “cloud” your title. They will also prepare all of the required documentation.
Once all of the title search and document package is complete, the attorney will schedule a time to close. You and the buyers will sit down and sign the pile of documents.
Congratulations, you collect your check!
